From researching competitors to discovering industry trends, HillResearch works with you to define your business question and provide relevant results. See below for answers to frequently asked questions.

Q. How much does HillResearch cost?
A. HillResearch costs just $125 per hour, payable in advance with a credit card. The $125 per hour fee includes standard database searching and standard project delivery. Premium databases can be accessed at your request. Courier or express delivery will be billed at cost.

Q. What is the typical turnaround time?
A. Responses to your research request, complete with a summary and supporting documentation, will be delivered to you typically within three to five business days.

Q. How is the research material delivered?
A. Standard delivery is by email, standard mail, or fax.

Q. Is HillResearch confidential?
A. HillResearch makes every effort to protect the confidentiality of all clients' questions and answers. We would be happy to sign confidentiality agreements.

Q. What kinds of questions can you research?
A. Many of the questions we receive fall into five main categories: Company Profile, Industry Overview, Market Research, Demographics, or Literature Search. Please see the “Samples” link for more information.

Q. Do I need an account with the Hill Library to order Research time?
A. No, you do not need to have any affiliation with the Hill Library to order research time.

Q. Does HillResearch provide consulting services?
A. No, HillResearch does not provide consulting services. We provide clients with a summary of our research and supporting documentation, but we cannot provide analysis or recommendations based on the information that we find. HillResearch specializes in finding credible, relevant information from secondary sources and delivering this information to you so that you can make well-informed business decisions.

Q. Can I put a time and/or monetary limit on my research request?
A. Yes, you can certainly put a time or monetary limit on your research request. Please keep in mind that limiting research time can affect how completely we can answer a research question. HillResearch is billed only in increments of one hour.

Q. Does HillResearch abide by U.S. copyright law?
A. Yes, HillResearch adheres to federal copyright guidelines. If there are additional fees related to copyright, a researcher will contact you before proceeding. In some cases, HillResearch may not be able to provide selected materials.

Q. Can students use HillResearch?
A. HillResearch does not perform research for student assignments or papers.
